TBD - in that episode Yacht Rock took what was a subtext in reality -- never really said outloud -- that The Eagles felt inferior but would never admit it and who beat up the nerdy 2 (with sales etc) as conpensation. I was startled by how close to the truth it was. I guess it was noticable to a careful listener and article-reader....

I agree Matt, that ascending guitar part right near the end of Gaucho, where he quotes the "what do you think I'm yelling for" is beautifully done and perfect for that song.

Wow -- just visited the "Low High Countries" Slideshow/movies and it's getting like No Love. I mean, 2 hearts (likes), 3 hearts? I *knew* it was risky to post home movies! I mean, obviously I personally see NO END to the charm and humor of WB...as it should be....but maybe they just violate the default image people have of how he spends his time and how he (can) act. Live and Burn......

To the latter, I refer you to the slideshow index, a growing repository of photos and vids from a variety of sources walterbeckermedia.com/slideshow-index If you mean 80s shots in particular, although there are some scattered among locations (some of the Polaroids, for example, on this site that appear within posts), you're correct there's been no collection specifically of WB in the 80s. Although that could be done, there are some limiting conditions. Please try to state again the take-home message of your post above, so I can be more certain about what you're after. As to your "How did that happen ? I can only guess why .".. I'm coming up empty on what you mean with this (it might be a language issue?).
