RIP Lyle Mays
Lyle Mays passed away this week, pianist, composer, arranger and long time music partner of Pat Metheny and his group. I know Walter and Donald were fans of Pat Metheny. The song below is off one of Lyle's solo albums, called 'Feet First' and he had Steely Dan in mind when he wrote it. I saw the Pat Metheny Group many times. halC

Thanks for posting. I hadn't heard. Lyle was a master of the keyboard. Saw the PMG only once, which was during their last album tour, 'The Way Up'. Magnificent show!
