Got a Dollar?

Hello D.
Writing to THANK YOU for the beautiful and greatly needed $1,000 gift you donated to the Jazz Foundation on 10/30/18. We are honored to be the recipients of your t-shirt sale during this important occasion - and the monies raised will directly impact the (more than) 1200 musicians and their families who we currently "serve" in the States, including Puerto Rico.
Where would any of us be without music -- and without the extraordinary men and women who have devoted their lives, time and talent to enhancing ours.
Obviously I'm speaking to the choir here and just want to send a "personal" note of great appreciation.
Wishing you all very best - peace and music, always,
bridget

Oh no, you definitely would not want to re-create these. That would make these originals lose all sense of value and historic purpose. These 2 should remain as-is; a part of WB history. Instead, I think new items, such as the WBW thumb-drive, are a great way to honor WB and move forward. The thumb-drive was a great idea and a nice promo piece that has me on the hunt for one to add to my collection. Items like the picks and thumb-drive should be "retired" after the first run. That's what makes them collectible and sought-after. If they're continued to be produced ad infinitum and can be easily had by anyone, then they're not nearly as collectible. It's the never-ending quest for the Holy Grail that keeps us collectors going.
