Everything Else

Walter was a voracious consumer of music and books; his collections were truly gargantuan. But I was always just as impressed by his librarys' scope and range as by their size.

It’s hard to encapsulate this range with any summary or description. But sometimes I encounter something like a simulacrum.

Here’s one I came across the other day: the contents of one of the CD-changer cartridges installed in the trunk of his old car.
