The short of a long story is:
> Forums will be disappearing soon (hey Wix: Welcome to the Era of Enshittification!)
> We don’t know for sure if or for how long Forums content will remain browsable; the platform states that the Forum module will literally be “deleted” from our site — which implies that even browsing functionality will disappear
But Who Knows? Bottom line: if you want to revisit anything in the short term, do it before the winds of February die:

> WB University
> Street-Legal
> Brill Building Becker
> Fake Book
> Everything Else
> We have been and will continue to work on finding a Forums replacement that retains features upon which we insist. We’re not greedy or unreasonable, really! But haviing researched many of the so-called ‘community’ solutions out there, and even demoed a few, well… The Quest Continues
> Any meager WBM site additions in the meantime — like the 2/20 Slim’s cut — will be dropped as a Blog (Gawd! a Blog?!?). Links to any additions will appear on this page|
> We are archiving the contents of the Forums, and intend to import into whatever New Thing we eventually launch
> We will send a Newsletter on that Glory Day, bringing glad tidings to the whole of the kingdom
> Progress updates, if any, will also appear here.
Wow — looking this over it sorta reads like an initiation pledge to some weird-ass TechnoDork cult 😒
Thanks for the update on the forum changes. It’s always appreciated when communities keep members informed about important transitions. Reading this also reminded me of practical everyday questions like can ziploc bags be recycled? Clear information always helps people make better decisions.
What do you think about us uploading any Fake Book posts to a site like Ultimate Guitar? It could be a good way to ensure the chords remain available, but I also understand if you prefer we keep them within WBM.
