Oh, YES!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate this so much. One of my favorites from 11TOW. This is great! Matt, you're right about the vocals being nearly spot-on to the studio version, so steady and effortless as only Walter can construct. Also, just like 3 Sisters and Cinder, I enjoy hearing WB's interaction with the audience that playing in a small club like this affords...and that alto sax is just beautiful. I'm overwhelmed with joy right now, so I may write more later, but for now...I'm smiling. Thanks again!

I was just sitting here listening to my playlist of Walter Becker rarities, when I realized it's been 2 years since we were last graced with a "Live at Slim's" track (Cinder Annie from April 2019) and just a handful of days past the anniversary of that wonderful show. Yeah, I dig this. This is cool. Great bass, obviously, and I agree that the casual, effortless singing is one of the tunes highlights...and oddly enough, even at 2 minutes, it seems complete, although I'm happy to loop it several times in a row.

Thanks Matt! I'm loving this version just as equally as the original; can't stop playing it. So wonderful to have both! Quick question - there's an ever so minor sonic glitch at the 2:58/9 mark. Is that present on the master or did a gremlin get introduced during the transfer to this site? Not a big deal, but you know how those of us in the Dandom universe love perfection :-)

Hey Lary. G-man here. I come here quite often, but the place has become rather dormant since the big C-1-9 hit town. I keep lookin' for some more smooth, sweet tunes or perhaps one of those clever/witty electronic bits/bytes, ones/zeroes kinda things that keep us all entertained, crafted from the finger-tappin' clicks of that well-known and respected moderator of these here pages, but alas...
