That is like a song primer. What is the minimum amount of constituent parts needed to make a song? I don't think I've noticed it before in the recorded version of Gaucho that the part is not 100% consistent. There are some pieces that are a bit like drum fills. Mr. Becker changes them slightly each time as the song progresses.

I had a lot of fun. I think everyone around me was having fun too. I liked the speakers and the fans I got to talk to. Surprised by how many British fans showed up and by how many fans from a block or two away were there. Thank you to everyone who did this.

Heard this song on the usb drive I got at the street name event. I remember this one was played live on a tour or two in the 90s and I thought it was a Steely Dan song. Now I think listening to some of this stuff that there isn't much difference between Steely Dan music, Fagen music, and Walter music. It all sounds different but you can really see both guys in there. I didn't know how much I would like Walter Becker's voice until I really got to listen. Cheers.
