...simply an avid Steely Dan, Walter and Donald fan(atic). I'm so glad to stumble onto this site while I was googling lyrics to some Donald songs. It's very cool to learn about the making of specific recordings and who played what part in the development or production or performance of a particular recording. I especially enjoy hearing or reading about W and D's spontaneous comments regarding whatever held their attention during any given situation or time because they both possess such a remarkably quick, sardonic wit and a mischievous sense of humor that, I want to believe, prevailed in and sustained their personal and professional relationship. They also thought of and made real some of they very best music ever experienced. I am simply, for lack of a better word, agog to find this site and to be amongst many others who share their love for the music these two guys made possible and I look forward to reading and hearing and learning all of the things I didn't know about W, D, and all of the contributing musicians and personnel behind the music.
